Boma smart (smart homestead) is a product that has its advantages to the members of the community; first it addresses on security of home stead, decent pit latrines to help control outbreak of cholera that comes through unhealthy human waste disposal, it is also one way of encouraging people to construct decent houses that are environmental conservation friendly by avoiding cutting down of trees and this help on controlling soil erosion.

The alternative we have adopter to use when facilitating members of the Sacco with this product is by use of Inter-locking blocks which are efficient and affordable.

Under the Boma smart we also focus on members fencing their homesteads ensuring they are able to curb insecurity.
