Advisor on Communication and Advocacy

Sahlim Charles is Community Organizer, Communication Specialist, Participatory Action Researcher and Filmmaker. Sahlim uses art and art based approaches in his peacebuilding and development work as a process to enhance connection among the communities while enabling them have the freedom to tell their stories in a more safe and friendlier environment. As a communication specialist, he has consulted for and supported several organization including and not limited African Union, Oxfam International, UN Women, International Food Policy Research Institute, International Livestock Research Institute, GROOTS Kenya, Pan African Climate Justice Alliance, Crisis Action, Africans Rising, ActionAid, Utugi Angels Community among many others.

Wamaitha

Wamaitha Gichamba
Legal Advisor

Dorcas is a tax & corporate lawyer with over five (5) years’ experience and the current Managing Partner of Wamaitha Gichamba & Co. She is an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya, a certified public accountant (CPA) graduate from Strathmore University and Certified Secretaries (CS) finalist. Dorcas holds a Bachelor of Laws Degree from Catholic University of Eastern Africa and a Post-Graduate Diploma in Law from the Kenya School of Law Advocates. Dorcas also has an unrivalled passion in community projects and plays a key role in advising local and international not for profit organizations on legal structures, tax issues and governance amongst other issues.

Mike is Communications Expert with substantial cross-cutting experience from online electronic to print media. Always interested in new learning situations, particularly in Communication and Material Development.

Zachuas Ogonji

Zachuas has over 8 years in community related projects spanning from working with women, children, young people and all-round community stakeholders. He has a bachelor degree in Development studies from Mt. Kenya University and has participated in various leadership training including Obama Africa Leaders training program and being selected to be a Tony Elumelu Foundation Entrepreneur’s participant of 2021.
